Poultry and Rabbits Services

About Me

My name is Missie. I drive a "Big Rig" to support this out of control hobby. It certainly doesn't pay for itself!

New Zealand White Rabbits

Lovely for shows, meat, pets or pelt.

Ancona Chickens

Working with a bird that can handle itself against predators and keep you in eggs is all the fun one can have! Eggs always available.

American Chinchilla Rabbits

I tried to help a friend raise his dream American Chinchilla's, but in the end I just ended up with my own line of these silver sweeties as an actual hobby. Not show quality and I don't usually have many available.

Education Available

I am never too busy to help out a fellow rabbit enthusiast. This is an open rabbitry and potential buyers are welcome to hang out for experience in general care, tattoing, veterinary care, breeding, butchering or just a look around.

Important Links to Know

Clubs I belong to, education I've done and recommend, last one is the Kintraks pedigree program I choose to use.

What's Going On!

August 2026

It has been such a busy month! The Rabbitry renovation is still ongoing and for the hot season I am driving truck 6 nights per week.

Christopher is preparing to leave town and live on a sailboat, so I have settled in his American Chinchilla rabbits and am moving his lovely home made cages in to create a better nursery area for the 8 litters I'm currently growing out.

All the does have had successful litters for the year, aside from Christophers sadly overweight show quality Doe. She is in a 8' x 14' run with my best buck and the weight is slowly coming off. She wears her long flappy excess skin with dignity. It's a horrible outfit for the hot weather we've been having, but she is doing very well. Fingers crossed she can still breed eventually.

I picked up 3 more A.C. Does while out hauling water. The ladies had a long ride in the big truck and are grateful to be resting in Quarantine now. They really are lovely. One will be rehoming to a hobby/ meat breeder, but the other two, dubbed "Moxie" and "Dove" will be settling in to help establish a more solid line of American Chinchillas to raise for working towards the ARBA standard.

The heat seems to be backing off, we certainly hope so!
